Comedy superstar Jeremy Irons...who actually made a nice joke about an off-camera thud, presents from the aisle. By the way, has anyone ever seen any nominees in this category, even years later? How would one go about doing that?
Laura Linney is hot without actually being that attractive, at least in the traditional sense. She's got great acting chops, a smokey (though not Scarlett-worthy) voice and a confidence about her. She wears a dress well, too.
Oh, and he didn't win, but Bill Plimpton is god. Those old MTV insterstitials rank among my all-time favorites.
