Best Supporting Actress
Tim Robbins gets the best intro of the night...enthralling us with his acting, boring us with his politics. I'm paraphrasing of course, cause I can't type fast enough to keep up with the fast-talking host.
Surprise! Cate Blanchett wins! You know, when tv talking heads overanalyze the Oscars so much for months before, you really do know who wins before the show goes on air. Makes it kind of boring, actually. Though to say an award show is boring is like saying Chris Rock has a huge mouth.
