Beauty and the Beast
And now, the best dressed, worst dressed and special award winners from the 2005 Oscar Red Carpet.
First, most improperly attired beauty of the night was none other than Ziyi Zhang aka Zhang Ziyi. Still not sure which one is the right one, but that dress certainly wasn't right. It was as if the seamstress who made Gwyneth Paltrow's 2002 Oscar dress was drunk and made it for a second time, only worse.
Worst dressed was more than that. This is the kind of picture that makes you want to turn off the internet. Considering Taryn Manning's Z-list celebrity status (her claim to fame is the award-winning Britney vehicle Crossroads), it must be concluded that the photographer was thinking the same thing.
And now for the best dressed of the night. It wasn't the most fashionable outfit, but the whole package is what drew me in. And to honor Catalina Sandino Moreno (star of Maria Full of Grace, here's a nice little gallery:
